The A+ Spanish titles for Mathematics
and Language Arts deliver curriculum for grade levels 1-8. The Mathematics
series consists of eight titles and the Language Arts series consists
of six titles. Also included with the Spanish curriculum are two assessment
modules that will diagnose student skill deficiencies and then automatically
create a lesson prescription that can be used for remediation or enrichment.
Each lesson in this series has been carefully adapted to follow the
guidelines of our
English version. The titles have been created and written according
to most state and national academic standards so that teachers have
the assurance that the learning objectives are also being taught to
students in the Spanish language. |

The American Education Corporation has partnered with specialists in developing
technology resources to support the educational needs of Spanish speaking
communities. Experienced educators in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Guatemala
were selected to create AEC’s Spanish version of the Mathematics and
Language Arts titles. The Mathematics titles contain identical curriculum
content as the English version. This includes a complete translation of
all screens, audio messages, graphics, management system, and Letter Lightning
game.
The first three Language Arts titles, for grade levels 1-3, have extensive
tutorial and instructional voice support. The lessons in each title provide
the phonetic and visual instruction to new words and word sounds while giving
the student an opportunity to use words in context and in whole language
exercises in the Spanish language. The last three titles, for grade levels
modifiers while concentrating on the importance of sentence construction.
Also covered is the correct usage of all letters of the alphabet. |
