grammar, vocabulary, and language skills. The A+LS™ Writing
curriculum brings everything together in a creative style that stimulates
students’ thinking and leads them through the writing process
using their newly developed written language and reading skills in
real world practice.
The Writing curriculum directs students through the entire writing
process from learning to write a complete sentence to expressing themselves
creatively through essays or other forms of creative writing. This
series of twelve titles moves students through the comprehension,
application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation levels of learning.

During the writing process, students creatively combine their grammar skills
with the thought-provoking stimuli of various assignments. The goal is for
students to write clearly using correct grammar and structure. The unique
design of the product allows teachers to interact on a personal level with
the portfolios created by each student.
Each title teaches the writing process from beginning to end, from brainstorming
to publishing. Students learn to express emotion, communicate information,
persuade an audience to take action, and tell exciting stories through writing.
The writing exercises broaden the students’ perspective of surroundings,
people, communities, and the world, serving as an outlet for countless hours
of self-expression. Students will develop an extensive pool of ideas that
